• Providing a central point of contact for shelters and for those seeking help in re-homing their Shiba Inu.

• Co-ordinate fund raising and fund distribution to aid Shiba rescue and adoption.

• Providing information to educate the general public about Shiba Inu and Shiba Inu rescue.

• Facilitating the adoption of any Shiba Inu in need.

All our rescue dogs will be spayed/neutered, heartworm tested, have all vaccines, and vet checked prior to going home.

• Ideally, adopters will have fenced yard.

• Adopters may need to take positive training classes.

Shiba Rescue GTA does not have a shelter facility. Each Shiba we take directly into our rescue programme is home fostered, assessed and lovingly cared for until a suitable, well-matched and devoted home can be found.
